AZomato acquires Blinkit, a fast delivery service provider. Somato, an online food delivery platform, has acquired Blinkit for a deal worth Rs 4,447 crore. The deal includes 33,018 equity shares.
With the acquisition of Blinkit, Somato will be able to jump faster. Through this agreement, it will be possible to play a crucial role in the growth of Somato. Blinkit was formerly known as Grophers. Through the agreement, Somato aims to accelerate the delivery of beauty and personal care products, pharmaceuticals and stationery.
Somato has already lent $ 150 million to Blinkit. The amount will be transferred after deducting this amount.
