Dubai : Schools will reopen on Monday after the winter break, but some schools will resume online learning. On Sunday, parents were informed that some schools in Dubai were launching online learning methods. Gems Schools, Victory Heights Primary School, Kent College Dubai and Dubai English Speaking School and College are all starting online learning. The decision comes in the wake of an increase in Kovid cases. The temporary transition to distance learning comes with the full support of the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). Kovid informed that each school can make its own decision regarding the test result.

The online study will take place in Abu Dhabi and Umm al-Quwain for the first two weeks from January 3rd. Training institutes, colleges and universities will do the same. Kovid will change the decision according to the circumstances. UAE says all government schools will have two weeks of online classes. The Ministry of Education had announced.

In Sharjah, all school staff and all students over the age of 12 must present a Kovid negative test result within 96 hours. The Sharjah Private Education Authority said it had also suspended school trips and extracurricular activities. Parents entering schools must show proof of green pass status on the Al Hossain app. All students over the age of six must wear a mask.
