Of the people missing after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, at least 6 were of Latino origin. Two days after the accident, search and rescue efforts continue by the United States authorities, who, unfortunately, have already found the lifeless bodies of two victims.

This is Alejandro Fernández Fuentes, a Mexican who was traveling in a red truck that ended up submerged in water after the accident.

Colonel Roland L Butler Jr. of the Maryland State Police reported that another victim was found in the vehicle: Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, a 26-year-old man of Guatemalan origin who lived in Dundalk, Maryland.

After the event, the governments of Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras confirmed the disappearances through spokespersons. For its part, the United States Coast Guard, given the time that has passed and the temperature of the water in which they fell, presumes that they are all dead.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador, from Aztec land, assured that there were three Mexican victims: one injured, who was being treated, and two missing.

These six men worked for Brawn Builders, a local contractor that maintains bridges in the state of Maryland.

In the list of those missing, Miguel Luna and Maynor Yassir Suazo Sandoval, the latter from the department of Santa Bárbara, Honduras, are presumed dead. In addition, there are supposedly two Guatemalans among the victims, according to the information provided by the Guatemalan Foreign Ministry.
