New Delhi: The use of beef, fish oil and animal fat has been revealed in the prasad laddus of the world famous Tirupati temple. Politics has heated up in Andhra Pradesh due to the allegations of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu regarding the prasad of Lord Tirupati. Andhra CM claimed in the legislature party meeting that Tirumala laddus were made from inferior materials. Their presence has been confirmed in the laddus given as prasad in Tirupati temple. TDP spokesperson showed the alleged laboratory report, which confirmed the presence of beef fat in the sample of ghee given. The use of these things in the prasad of Tirupati temple is also a mockery of faith. After this revelation, people are also expressing their anger. Something similar happened in 1984. Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda had mentioned a big disaster that befell Hinduism in 1984 a few days ago. He mentioned what happened in 1984 in a special conversation with NBT. He told that at that time vegetable ghee was sold in the name of Dalda. It was used in most of the houses but in the same year i.e. 1984, it was discovered that Dalda contained fat.

This simply meant that the Dalda that Hindus consume is made from animal fat. After this matter came to light, there was great anger among Hindus across the country. Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda mentioned what had happened during that time. People got confused whether this was cow fat or not.

When the food department raided the Dalda factory, a large amount of fat was found. It was all animal fat. People got confused whether it was cow fat or not. If it was cow fat, then now that it has gone into our mouths, then are we Hindus or not? Shankaracharya said that this had created a huge problem.

He said that at such a time Shankaracharya decided that you have not eaten fat knowingly. We are telling you a brief atonement, by doing that you will become pure and remove the guilt from your mind. Now some people are saying the same thing and calling it a tampering with the faith of Sanatanis. During this time, those who went to Tirupati feel that they have been cheated.

The laboratory report which claimed the presence of animal fat and fish oil in the prasad samples is from July. The date of sampling was July 9, 2024 and the laboratory report was dated July 16 this year. There has been no official confirmation on the laboratory report from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) which manages the famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.
