The son-in-law of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Timur Kulibayev, has resigned as chairman of the presidium of the Kazakh National Chamber of Entrepreneurs (NCE) Atameken, the press service of the chamber reported. Timur Kulibayev stood at the origins of the creation of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and made a great contribution to the formation of the chamber as a constructive dialogue platform for business and government,” the chamber said in a statement. The candidature of the acting chairman of the presidium of the chamber will be chosen at the next meeting.

Timur Kulibayev has been the Chairman of the Presidium of the Chamber since 2010, before that he was the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC National Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna.
