Actress Park Yeon-soo expressed her anger at her daughter Song Ji-ah’s failure to participate in the golf tournament.
Park Yeon-su posted a long message on her social media on the 16th, saying, “Jia, who started (golf) late, wants to become a professional as soon as possible. Why wouldn’t she want to play for the national team like her dad?”
Park Yeon-su said, “(My daughter Ji-ah) wanted to pass the national team or reserve team and become a pro quickly to lessen her mother’s hardships,” adding, “She only wanted to be in the top five in the competition.”
However, she expressed her disappointment with the tournament organizers, saying, “Zia has been working twice as hard these days for the KlPGA Chairman’s Cup, but the KlPGA called her last night to say she cannot participate with a week left until the tournament.” She continued, “I submitted the application for the KlPGA Chairman’s Cup a month ago, but since I had to enter my score from another tournament, I entered 74, but when I looked it up, it was 71, so they told me I couldn’t participate.”
Park Yeon-su said, “I wrote more because I got the Gochang match and Bitgoeul Bini scores mixed up. It’s 100% my fault,” blaming herself. However, she complained, “This match isn’t even the tenth time, and they didn’t even give me a chance to edit it, and I was cut right away. I submitted my application to the company, but I didn’t even get an interview. It’s so unfair.”
He continued, “You have to let me know in advance whether the qualifications are appropriate or not so that I can make corrections. You asked me why I didn’t make corrections when I had time to do so, but how can I make corrections when I didn’t know what I wrote wrong? Then I will ask you again. Isn’t it the KlPGA that should be checking that?”
Park Yeon-su said, “I don’t know what to do with Jia who can’t go to the competition she desperately wanted to compete in… I’m really sorry for being such a stupid mother.” She then said, “Please stop talking about practices and I hope that KLPGA will develop further. This is a competition that could be really desperate for someone,” and criticized the tournament organizers.
