Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi face to face in the Lok Sabha. Smriti Irani and Sonia Gandhi had a verbal war with each other on the issue of Congress party leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary addressing the President as Rashtrapatni. The incident was caused by Chaudhary’s reference to President Murmu as ‘Rashtrapatni’. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman alleged that Sonia Gandhi told a BJP member not to talk to her. But the Union Minister did not reveal the name of the BJP leader. While BJP members gathered around Rama Devi and Gandhi, NCP member Supriya Sule and Trinamool member Aparupa Poddar accompanied Sonia Gandhi. Stuck.
