Kochi: Sonta Infratech MD Rajkumar Chellappan Pillai said that he got the contract in Brahmapuram because he was qualified. Rajkumar Chellappan Pillai said that the agreement was not won by political influence. The contract was awarded because the company was qualified. In Kannur, it was seen that it would be four times what was stated in the contract. Rajkumar Chellappan Pillai said that is why he asked for more money. He also asked whether anyone would burn garbage while the Rs 500 crore project was in progress.
