About a month ago, Sony announced that it intends to launch a much larger amount of games for the PC, instead of maintaining exclusivity relative to the PlayStation consoles. Now the company’s hardware division is also joining the effort, with a new series of headphones and gaming screens that, while also suitable for consoles, are aimed primarily at PC gamers.
The screen series includes two models, with the leading model being the InZone M9, a 27-inch screen with 4K resolution with an IPS panel, in a design that is very reminiscent of that of the PlayStation 5 console. It has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a millisecond response time One, support for G-Sync and DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1 and USB C inputs. .
Other features that came to the InZone M9 directly from Sony’s Bravia screens are the automatic adjustment of the display settings according to the type of content, whether it’s a game, a web surfing or watching a movie. The price of the screen will be $ 899 in the United States. A slightly cheaper version, InZone M3, will arrive without the local lighting system and with a resolution of 1080p, but the refresh rate actually rises to 240 Hz. Its price will be $ 529.
In addition, Sony is launching new headphones that all support surround sound (3D Spatial Audio). The $ 299 wireless InZone H9 is capable of connecting via both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz via USB dongle, and comes with active noise filtering, battery life of up to 32 hours, and support for surround sound while precisely matching the ear structure.
For $ 229, Sony will sell the InZone H7, which looks almost identical to the H9 but comes without active noise filtering.
