Sony said that it is developing exciting virtual worlds for PlayStation games within the worlds of Metaverse.
According to a report published by The Verge, during the CAS 2023 conference, the company presented a quick experience of the virtual world of Manchester City via Metaverse.
Nami Iwamoto, product manager at Sony, said that the virtual world will have unique interactions, as it will allow users to communicate in a new way.
The virtual world offered by Sony allows the stadium and characters to be shown from more than one perspective, whether players, goalkeepers or fans.

Sony showed another clip showing the process of filming the players and reshaping their bodies, using 7 sensors. to digitally recreate it in metaverse space.
The partnership was announced for the first time between Sony and Manchester City, in November 2021.
A spokesman for the company, Yu Kikuchi, said that the world of the virtual Manchester City club will be launched in the current year 2023.
