Sony plans early next week to announce a new subscription service in video games for the PlayStation platform Currently known as Spartacus, which is her answer on Xbox Game Pass from Microsoft, according to Bloomberg.
Previous reports suggest that Spartacus could be a combination of Sony’s two existing subscription services, PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now.
Bloomberg says the company wants to launch the service that includes popular and recent games. But the upcoming game may not include God of War: Ragnarok.
The service is expected to have three different levels, offering different games at different prices. The first level is expected to be very similar to the current PlayStation Plus subscription.
While later levels add PlayStation 4 and 5 gamesPlus, access to extended trials and the ability to stream games online.
Previous reports have also stated that the top level could include a library of classic games from systems such as the PlayStation 2 and PSP.

It is also not clear how much it might cost. PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus currently cost $60 per year each when purchasing an annual subscription, or $120 combined. This is the same price as a standard Game Pass subscription, and slightly lower than Game Pass Ultimate. As a result, Sony has plenty of wiggle room when it comes to pricing.
There is also the issue of transfer, where you can buy a PlayStation Plus subscription for several months or even years. It is not known how the company deals with users who do not sign up With a monthly subscription.
And it appears that Spartacus may have an equivalent level. But there may be price changes that should be taken into account.
