For fiscal year 2022, Sony shipped 19.1 million PS5 consoles. This became known from the report of the gaming division of the company.

These figures allowed the division of Sony Gaming & Network Services to earn $ 7.9 billion for the financial year. Last fiscal year, revenue was $4.9 billion. The company plans to increase sales of peripherals and equipment and forecasts 7% revenue growth in 2023.
