Sony showed new speakers for home

Sony has introduced two new home speakers, the HT-A7000 and HT-A9. Both new Sony products will be on sale in September at a price of € 1.3 thousand for the HT-A7000 and from € 1.8 thousand for the HT-A9. As an option, two wireless subwoofers will be offered – a 200-watt SW-SW3 for € 500 and a 300-watt SA-SW5 for € 800 – and wireless rear speakers SA-RS3S for € 500.

7.1.2-channel speakers HT-A7000 creates surround sound with active speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, two tweeters, five front speakers and a built-in two-channel subwoofer. Vertical Surround Engine, S-Force Pro Front Surround and 360 Reality Audio technologies provide surround sound. Built-in microphones analyze the room and environment to optimize sound for the room. The HT-A7000 works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Apple AirPlay 2.

A special feature of the HT-A9 acoustics is Sony 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, which creates a spatial sound taking into account the characteristics of the room in which the speakers are installed. Includes four wireless speakers and a control box that turns a quartet of physical speakers into 12 virtual speakers.

Both speaker models support HDMI 2.1 connection with support for 8K video, 4K games with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision HDR, eARC and other technologies.
