Sony presented The Xperia 1 V is the new flagship smartphone and is the world’s first device with an Exmor T multilayer image sensor.
The novelty is based on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is combined with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, the latter can be expanded with microSD memory cards up to 1 TB. Xperia 1 V received a 6.5-inch 4K OLED screen (38,401,644 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display and the back of the device are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Cameras have become a feature of the smartphone. The new model received a 12-megapixel front camera and a main module with a 52-megapixel inch sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. It is stated that the camera settings, image processing algorithms have been updated for the Xperia 1 V, and new versions of branded applications (Photography Pro, Videography Pro, Cinema Pro and Music Pro) have been prepared for working with photos and videos.
The Sony smartphone received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 30 W fast wired charging and support for wireless and reverse charging, an NFC module and a 3.5 mm audio jack are provided. The case is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard.
Sales of the new Sony Xperia 1 V in Europe will begin at the end of June. The cost of the smartphone will be €1.4 thousand.
