The high-level meeting was held on Monday (August 12) at the State Guest House, Yamuna. Public Administration Secretary Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury gave this information in the briefing after the meeting.

Regarding the meeting, the Public Administration Secretary said that the Chief Adviser has given instructions to start the work of all the ministries quickly. For this, he gave instructions to work on priority from now on with seven days time.

The secretary said that a decision will be taken soon after listening to the demands of those who have been denied promotion in the last few years. The Chief Adviser has given instructions to make the Ministries and Departments functional quickly.

The Public Administration Secretary said that the Chief Adviser has given instructions to ensure that the work of the Ministries in which there were Ministers before, does not come to a standstill, and that the Secretaries start working on their own initiative.

He said that priority should be given to urgent matters including fertiliser, electricity, agriculture, energy, ports and food and work should be started within seven days and the lists should be given to the chief adviser.
