On X (ex-Twitter), she takes on the designer Coco, who has just published in Release a drawing evoking the humanitarian situation in Gaza: a skinny young Palestinian runs after two rats in the hope of eating them, but a woman (his mother, no doubt) stops him with these words, in the middle of Ramadan: “TTT, not before sunset. » Response from Sophia Chikirou: “You will not have our hatred, but you deserve it. »

The message is quite perverse. Sophia Chikirou doesn’t grant her hatred, but it’s just like that. It also takes the title of a book, You won’t have my hatredwritten by the journalist Antoine Leiris, having lost his wife during the Bataclan attack on November 13, 2015. However, the designer Coco is a survivor of the massacre carried out by the Kouachi brothers, responsible for twelve assassinations in Charlie Hebdo, in January of the same year.

By posting her message, as did two other LFI deputies, Carlos Martens Bilongo and Sarah Legrain, Sophia Chikirou joins the attacks and calls for murder launched on the X network against Coco. Anthology, produced by Coco herself: “They should have liquidated you on January 7”, “May God have mercy on the Kouachi brothers”, or even “Run you bitch, you will soon be massacred with your whole family”.

Coco, Corinne Rey of her real name, had to justify herself in the face of this torrent of hatred: “A drawing (which I fully accept!) which underlines the despair of the Palestinians, denounces the famine in Gaza and also mocks the absurdity of religion. » The designer is also not suspected of anti-Palestinian bias, who sketches Hamas with as much ferocity as Israel. But the explanation of text and drawing did not convince Sophia Chikirou. The LFI MP, loyal to Jean-Luc Mélenchon, fervently leads her fight against Israel. A few days ago, for example, she retweeted a post from Rima Hassan, jurist in international law and supporter of the Palestinian cause, just included on the LFI list for Europeans in eligible positions. The content of Rima Hassan’s message, however, is enough to trigger indignation: “Israel is killing the living. All living things. This is how we recognize a fascist colonial entity. »
We cannot exclude that in addition to being a zealous defender of Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s positions, which increasingly flirt with anti-Semitism, Sophia Chikirou seeks to settle personal scores with Coco. On several occasions, the designer of Release took great joy in mocking the positions of LFI. She thus published a drawing with a psychologist addressing Jean-Luc Mélenchon and MP Louis Boyard, seated on a sofa, in these terms: “Condemning the Hamas terrorist attacks does not necessarily make you pro-Israeli. » Intrigued response from Mélenchon, with a suspicious eye: “Are you Jewish? »

With this attack signed by three LFI deputies against the designer Coco, Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s movement is a little more visible in opposing freedom of expression, especially when said freedom is exercised against Islam. Fabien Roussel has once again distinguished himself, in every sense of the word, compared to his former partners at Nupes. The communist MP gave his “full support” to Coco on X, adding: “Forever by your side, and by Charlie’s side. »
