In an Instagram post, Sophia Thiel said goodbye to her close friend Verena, who lost the fight against cancer.
Fitness influencer Sophia Thiel (27) said goodbye to Verena Sam in an Instagram post. The fitness trainer died after suffering from cancer. “Dearest Verena, I still can’t understand that you had to leave us so early,” writes Thiel in the post, which shows, among other things, joint recordings of the two training sessions and a picture of Thiel with tears in his eyes. “We had such wonderful, intense moments together that I will never forget.”

The women met in Berlin in 2016 and Thiel had already noticed that “you are simply special. Always straight out, so warm, so cool, always positive with a smile on your face – Verena, you simply have every room with your charisma Fulfills.”
Together with her husband Achim Sam, she took care of Sophia Thiel in Los Angeles in 2019 in her “personally most difficult time” and “given me courage again – my two heart people”, writes the 27-year-old and adds: “Verena, you Fighter, I was so sure that you would kick that damn cancer’s ass and we’d travel to LA together one more time. Losing that fight literally breaks my heart. It’s not fair. I don’t understand. Me I’m at a loss for words. I miss you.” Thiel concludes that she will never forget her friend and the time we spent together and will always carry her in her heart.
