After exiting the Quest airlock, they retrieved a foot restraint and mounted it on Canadarm2, operated from inside the station by NASA astronaut Jack Hathaway. Menon rode the robotic arm to External Platform 3—where the spare Space-to-Ground Antenna had remained stored since 2009—while Adenot translated along the station’s exterior under her own power.
