Last December, Soraya Arnelas announced that she was pregnant, for the third time, at 41 years old. According to what the singer revealed to Week, She and her husband Miguel ngel Herrera were expecting a “very wanted” baby and, although they still did not know the sex, they were already thinking about names. “We like Mauro or Bianca,” he said with joy. However, this January 18, the artist had to give sad news.
Arnelas, with the fortitude for which he stands out, has revealed on Instagram that he has lost his third baby. She has done it bravely and with a moving text that, in less than 10 minutes, has accumulated more than 2,200 interactions. “Dear friends: we are not very good at communicating this type of news. You know that we always try to maintain a happy line in our networks. But, as in life, it can’t always be like that,” he published.
“In this case we would not have liked to have to share this news, but we think we should do it for the love and respect that you give us day after day to our entire family. Unfortunately, we lost the baby that was on the way a few weeks ago. They have been sad moments, we really wanted to be able to be a large family. But, sometimes, plans are not in one’s hands,” he said.
“We have let some time pass to be able to write these lines calmly, from reason and from love, without anger involved. This experience has taught us one of the most important lessons that life can give you: value what you have and enjoy it every day. And if we were already aware of it, now even more so,” he noted, in capital letters.
“We are fortunate and grateful to have two wonderful and healthy daughters, who are being our greatest support, who give us strength and make us fight every day and bring a smile despite the circumstances. We are a big little family, we have done a great job together these days to face these moments. Union and a lot of love, that is the only way,” he wrote.
“Thank you all for your understanding and affection always. We do not want to overlook all the families who have gone through these moments like us. We want to send a message of encouragement and an infinite hug to all of them. Life doesn’t stop. Likewise, the publication has an image: a drawing of the baby, made by Manuela, the couple’s eldest daughter.
