Neeraj Arora added, “In 2012, Facebook approached us about buying WhatsApp. At first we refused. Only then did we agree to it. We made our position very clear during the negotiations regarding the sale of WhatsApp. I.e. do not exploit user data; Ads should not be displayed; Cross platform monitoring should not be done. Facebook agreed to that. But as said nothing happened. In 2018, after the details of the Facebook / Cambridge Analytica scandal came out, WhatsApp founder Brian Acton posted that it was time to delete Facebook.

Today WhatsApp is the 2nd largest platform in the meta company. First Facebook has to admit its mistakes. Initially no one knew that Facebook would become a monster. Today it is making a lot of money by stealing customer information. Meta has shattered all our dreams and policies, ”said Neeraj Arora.
