Soubin Shahir Surabhi Lakshmi Starrer Kallan D’Souza Movie Review Half of Charlie’s story goes on from that character. Thief D’Souza’s specialty is a picture taken from that innocent thief.

The film is directed by Jeethu K Jayan and scripted by Zajeer Baba. Instead, this small film is reduced to a covert game between a thief and the police. Saubin Shahir plays the lead role of the thief D’Souza in the film. Apart from Saub, Surabhi Lakshmi and Dileesh Pothen also play the lead roles.

Dileesh plays the role of Manoj, an evil and rude policeman. Manoj, who is involved in a money laundering scam, hides a large portion of the seized money with his colleagues. In the meantime, Manoj and his gang try to catch D’Souza, who goes unnoticed, and D’Souza hides in a house. The woman in the house rescues D’Souza from the police.

D’Souza then sees the woman he rescued in a hospital and gets closer. Soon after, D’Souza learns that the housewife who saved him is Asha, the wife of Manoj. D’Souza approaches Asha, who has been enslaved by the cruel Manoj, and her speechless daughter. They form a loving relationship with each other. This is where the film moves on.

Beyond the theme of a thief loving a policeman’s wife, the film lacks elements that captivate the audience. The film does not present any significant humorous moments or memorable scenes. In the climax, the film only gives hope that Asha and her daughter will be released from the hands of the bloodless policeman in the eyes of Manoj.

Although Saubin portrayed an innocent and good-natured character without any damage, it has to be said that the acting potential was limited as the main character. Surabhi plays the role of Asha, who has to endure her husband’s abuse. Surabhi narrates all the moments when she does not cry in front of her daughter even when her husband beats her.

Dileesh’s character Manoj is enough to earn the hatred of the audience and that is the excellence of Dileesh’s actor. In the movie, Dileesh plays a ruthless cop and her husband. The performance of the locust Prakash, who has been coming for a very short time, is also memorable. Harish Kanaran’s comedy, which comes as Saub’s friend, does not work in the film.

Edited by Prashant Karma and Leo Tom, some of the songs in the film are different. Arun Chal is the photographer. ‘Thief D’Souza’ is a movie that can be seen without much boredom, except for the recurrence of the growing emotional connection between D’Souza and Asha.
