A concert entitled “The Sound of 11 Strings” took place at the International Mugham Center in Baku. The program featured students of the tar player and teacher of Children’s Music School No. 36 Rufat Hasanov, Day.Az reports.

The event spoke about the successes and achievements of Rufat Hasanov both in the teaching field and as a musician.

It was noted that Rufat Hasanov successfully represented our country at numerous international festivals. Performing concert programs and master classes in many foreign countries, he contributes to the development of the art of performing the tar.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his teaching activity, Rufat Hasanov was presented with an award from the National Foundation “Dede Gorgud” and a congratulatory letter from the International Mugham Center.

Rufat Hasanov’s teachers – people’s artists Agaverdi Pashayev, Agasalim Abdullayev, Vamig Mamedaliyev, Ramiz Guliyev, as well as the head of the Dede Gorgud Foundation Eldar Ismailov and the director of the International Mugham Center, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Sahib Pashazadeh congratulated Rufat Hasanov and wished him success in his creative activity.

Then Rufat Hasanov’s students performed a concert program.
