A fire broke out in a parliament building in Cape Town, South Africa today. The area looked like a smoky zone as the fire burned away. Firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the blaze. Firefighters put out the blaze, which lasted for more than six hours.
The video of the fire burning in the parliament spread rapidly on social media. Police have registered a case and are actively investigating the cause of the fire.
Officials said the fire first broke out on the third floor of the parliament building and then spread to the National Assembly (Lower House) chamber.
