Women’s IPL, Broadcast Rights – BCCI Notification

Reliance’s Viacom has acquired the digital broadcasting rights of the Men’s IPL for the next 5 years from 2023 for Rs. 23,758 crore received. The recently held FIFA Football World Cup was aired free-to-air on Reliance Jio Cinema OTD. Similarly, Reliance is planning to broadcast the IPL 2023 match for free.
In this case, Reliance’s Viacom has also acquired the broadcasting rights of the Women’s IPL. For 5 years Rs. 951 crore has agreed to give. That means for every game Rs. 7.09 crore. This right applies to all countries including India and all forms of media (television, digital). 5 teams will participate in 2023 Women’s IPL. The team will be announced on January 25. The tournament will start in March.
