Aruppukkottai: A district level electronic kabaddi tournament was held on behalf of South District DMK Sports Development Team at Palayampatti near Aruppukkottai.
South District Sports Development Team Organizer Ramesh presided. Minister Sathur Ramachandran inaugurated the event. Ministers Chatur Ramachandran and Gold South presented the prizes and shields to the Mudinur Mother Durga team who won the two-day Kabaddi tournament, the first prize shield, 50 thousand, the Nachiapuram Sivantha Kankis team who won the second place, and the Aviyur IK team who won the 3rd position.
MLAs Raghuraman, Srinivasan, Asokan, Thangapandian and DMK functionaries participated in the event.
