Southern Railway Announces Special Train Between Nellai and Chennai

Southern Railway has recently announced the operation of a special train (06052) between Nellai and Chennai. The train is scheduled to run tomorrow, September 28th.

According to the announcement, the special train will depart from Nellai at 3 pm and is expected to reach Chennai at 3.45 am the following day. This initiative aims to provide enhanced connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling between these two destinations.

The announcement comes in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of nine new train services on September 24th. Among these services was the Vande Bharat train service, which now connects Chennai and Nellie.

The Vande Bharat Train (20666) service between Nellai and Chennai Egmore was inaugurated on September 27th. The train began its journey at 6 AM and successfully arrived in Chennai at 1.50 PM. It is worth noting that the Vande Bharat trains will run six days a week, excluding Tuesdays, on both routes.

Southern Railway aims to enhance passenger experience by introducing these new train services and ensuring comfortable and efficient travel between Nellai and Chennai. The introduction of the special train is expected to cater to the increasing demand for transportation on this route and facilitate smoother travel for passengers.
