Soybean prices dropped again on the Chicago Stock Exchange this Friday afternoon (19). The market started the day in a positive field, following the rises of neighboring markets, however, it lost strength again and, around 2 pm (BrasÃlia time), oilseed futures yielded between 2.75 and 12.25 points, taking the September and November contracts operating, again, below US$ 12.00 per bushel.
The pressure on the oilseed and derivatives market – in addition to soy and corn – continues and remains as a reflection of fundamentals that still contemplate the still favorable climate for American planting and the good pace of field work, the still contained demand and , this week, the additional pressure coming from the renewal of the agreement in the Black Sea region that increases offers, mainly of corn, wheat and vegetable oils.
