As Mr. Mitsos mentions, the arrival of tourism in the region shows great disparities, with the burden falling more on Parga and the other points being quite behind, while in general Epirus does not show an increase in its tourist product, as its participation in national product remains stuck at 2% for many years.
Mr. Rizopoulos in the video emphasizes that tourism in Epirus is road-based and therefore emphasis must be placed on road networks, with the upgrading of roads being among the priorities of his program for Epirus. In addition, as mentioned, tourism in Epirus is not repetitive, which means that the strategy with tourism exhibitions is considered unsuccessful. Therefore, Spyros Rizopoulos states that a new strategy must be drawn up with a better and more complete presence of the tourism product of Epirus on the internet.
