A bill‌ of delegation, signed by De Poli, aims to stimulate⁣ the spa sector. It⁢ offers tax incentives and contributions​ for‍ companies in the territories, as well as‍ the inclusion of ‍spa treatments within the ⁤National Health Service‘s essential levels ‌of care. “Spa treatments are a vital ​resource in Italy,⁤ as they have historically proven ⁤effective for both preventing and treating various ⁢pathologies,” explained⁤ De ‌Poli. ‌”This bill seeks to support and revitalize the sector.”

According to ⁢Article 4 of the proposed legislation, patients covered‍ by the National Health Service are ​entitled to⁢ two ‌cycles of spa ⁣treatments per year, specifically tailored to their specific health conditions.

Notable provisions of the ‌bill ​include Article 7,⁣ which integrates ⁢spa treatments into⁤ the national network of‌ health and social healthcare services. ‍Article 10⁤ offers tax benefits to spa companies, allocating a fund of 30 million over the period ⁤2024-2026 at the⁤ Ministry of‍ Economy. Additionally, Article 13 exempts visitors to spa facilities who stay for at least 6 days ⁢and undergo 6 treatment ​services ⁣from the ​tourist tax.

Article 22 establishes a ⁢National Commission for the‌ Promotion⁢ of Spa Tourism.
