The Crew Dragon Endeavor spacecraft successfully splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the US state of Florida. The landing was broadcast on the website of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA.

The ship called Endeavor landed at 22:33 US East Coast time (06:33 Moscow time on November 9). On board are the American astronauts of the Crew-2 mission Shane Kimbrow and Megan MacArthur, the European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Tom Peske, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Akihiko Hoshide.

Earlier Monday, Crew Dragon automatically undocked from the International Space Station (ISS). Before heading to Earth, the ship flew around the station to take photos of it.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission launched on April 23 on a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida and docked with the space station on April 24.

It is planned that already on November 10, the third crew will fly to the ISS on the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will include American astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron, as well as an astronaut of the European Space Agency Matthias Maurer. The mission will start from the site of the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
