SpaceX has launched a Falcon 9 rocket with a group of satellites

The Falcon 9 rocket was launched from the Cape Canaveral cosmodrome in the US state of Florida. The rocket launched at 14.59 US East Coast time (21.59 Moscow time).

Falcon 9 will deliver a group of Starlink satellites into orbit, providing high-speed Internet operation. The constellation of satellites unfolds at an altitude of 550 kilometers.

Since launch, SpaceX has been streaming live.

Currently, the number of satellites has already exceeded 1.7 thousand, and in the future the constellation will grow to 12 thousand vehicles.

The implementation of the satellite program providing access to high-speed Internet for the world’s population began in February 2018. SpaceX is currently testing the Internet among the US user audience.
