SpaceX, launched the Italian-Argentine satellite Saocom 1B

It brought a 35 square meter radar antenna into orbit – LaPresse / AP /Courier TV

(LaPresse) The Saocom 1B satellite was successfully launched at 19.19 yesterday 30 August from Cape Canaveral. The satellite is an integral part of a cooperation project known as the ‘Italian-Argentine system of satellites for emergency management’ (Siasge). It was brought into orbit by Space X’s Falcon 9 rocket and shortly after launch it deployed a 35-square-meter radar antenna. It is a technology with which it is equipped to allow the collection of useful data for agriculture and the prediction of natural disasters.
