SpaceX owner Elon Musk denies Chinese allegations of space crash – NEWS 360 – WORLD

New York: Elon Musk, the head of the company, has denied all allegations against the Starlink satellites launched by SpaceX. He was responding to controversy following China’s complaint to the United Nations yesterday that it had been forced to relocate its space station to avoid colliding with Starling satellites. The head of the European Space Agency has also criticized Musk for “making new rules” in the region in anticipation of the immense potential of space tourism. Musk denied all allegations against SpaceX, saying the orbit could contain tens of thousands of satellites and that he had made no attempt to gain more space in space. Joseph Ashbacher, director general of the European Space Agency, has previously said that the thousands of communications satellites launched by Starlink provide very little space for other satellites. Other astronauts have suggested that more distances may be needed than Musk suggested to avoid collisions.

SpaceX alone has so far deployed about 1,900 satellites for the Starlink broadband network. It is estimated that about 30,000 moons orbit the Earth. There is a growing need for nations to share real-world information about orbiting satellites and other space debris to reduce the risk of catastrophic space collisions.

At the same time, China also demanded that the US intervene directly in the matter. China’s Tiangong space station needs to be protected from satellites launched by Musk’s SpaceX.

There are currently three Chinese tourists in Tiangong. To avoid incidents such as the need to move the plant to avoid collisions with Starlink satellites

Chinese spokesman Shao Lijian said the U.S. should take immediate action. Shao also accused the U.S. of failing to comply with the 1967 agreement on the peaceful use of space. The United States has not yet commented on the matter.
