SpaceX sends cargo ship Dragon to ISS

In the United States, the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was launched with the Dragon spacecraft, which is supposed to deliver cargo for the crew of the International Space Station (ISS).

The rocket was launched from the launch complex at the US Air Force base at Cape Canaveral (Florida) at 13:29 US East Coast time (20:29 Moscow time). The spacecraft is scheduled to dock with the ISS on Saturday, June 5th.

The cargo that Dragon will carry into orbit will include food and research materials to develop new drugs for kidney disease.

The cargo ship will also deliver two solar panels to the ISS. Previously, NASA reported signs of wear and tear on existing solar panels.
