Today, Tuesday, a complete vaccination plan will be presented to the Spanish Council of Ministers, which, with its approval, could make Spain the first country in the European Union to have one of its type.
As reported by Pedro Sánchez, President of the Government of that country, the vaccination plan will allow a substantial part of the Spanish population to be vaccinated in the first half of 2021.
During the presentation of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Spanish Economy, “Spain can”, the president explained that work has been underway on this vaccination plan since September and that with it it is planned to increase the number of places by 10 thousand. health training to advance the incorporation of new professionals in order to strengthen the health services of all the autonomous communities.

Most of Spain’s Health responsibilities are transferred to the autonomies, but the design of the vaccine distribution will be the responsibility of the Government, in collaboration with the different territories, with the fundamental objective of providing all prioritized groups with the access to the vaccine, without differences between communities.
Without detailing who makes up those groups prioritized for access to the vaccine, the president has made it clear that among them will be health professionals and the elderly.
