Hailstorm that claimed the life of a 20-month-old baby in Spain has shocked people.

Pedestrians on the roads were seriously injured due to hailstones. It is said that many parts of the city were severely damaged due to this hailstorm which took only 10 minutes.
The roofs, electrical cables and windows of the house were severely damaged. More than 50 people are said to have suffered broken bones after being hit by a barrage of hail, while a 20-month-old child died due to hail falling on his head. Doctors said that the child who was struggling for life with injuries was admitted to the hospital, but the child died without treatment.
Hail is not new to the Catalonia region. Hail showers are common here throughout the year, especially in the months of March and March. But this is the first time since 2002 that such large hailstones have struck with strong winds, city residents said. With the weather still not fully recovered from the hailstorm that had already hit, locals have been cooped up indoors in fear as the Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of another heavy hailstorm.
