Funds collected through the tax divisions of Personal Income Tax and Corporate Tax are directed to finance social projects developed by Third Sector institutions. In short, they are a great variety of projects that aim to guarantee the rights of citizens, the fight against poverty, social exclusion and inequality and their purpose is move towards just, equal, inclusive, sustainable and peaceful societies, here and around the world. Inside 2022At the regional level, 6,909 projects were financed, developed by 2,255 entities. At the state level, 887 projects from 262 companies were funded. Together, 7,798 projects developed by 2,517 social enterprises were financed. In 2023, 991 projects are financed at the state level, developed by 288 social institutions. The Third Division is more than that 28,000 items which represents 1.44% of the Spanish GDP and in which 3.2% of all people employed in the Spanish labor market, on a paid basis. Every year, the Third Sector companies make more loans 48 million direct contribution and the Third Sector solidarity channels to be close to 4 million people by volunteering.
