All Village Integrated Agriculture Development Program is to be implemented in 7 Panchayats in Vennantur district during the current financial year. A special awareness camp was held under the leadership of Yuvraj, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Vennantur District, in Kedamalai under Keelur District, where the scheme will be implemented. In the camp, awareness was created for the eligible beneficiaries to get coconut saplings, set of agricultural tools, tarpaulin, electric sprayer, hand sprayer provided under the All Village Integrated Agriculture Development Program, through the Plowman program.
A study was also carried out on the possibilities of setting up a rainfed collection in this project. In the special soil sample collection camp at Ketamalai, the method of collecting soil samples and the application of fertilizers to the crops based on the soil test and getting high yields were explained.
