Special Fund for Earthquake Management: Free Banking Services for Donation Transfers (GPBM)
Casablanca – Banks are applying total free banking services for the transfer of donations from the public, customers and non-customers, intended for the “Special Fund for the management of the effects of the earthquake that hit the Kingdom of Morocco”, announced on Monday the Professional Group of Banks of Morocco (GPBM).
“This free service is valid regardless of the channels used and their origin, both from Morocco and abroad,” the GPBM said in a press release, reiterating its mobilization to contribute to the national solidarity effort following the earthquake that hit the Kingdom.
To this end, the banks have taken the necessary steps to raise awareness among their staff and deploy the appropriate means at the level of the banking network across the Kingdom in order to facilitate the carrying out of these operations and ensure the best support for donors, underlines the same source.
