Sony launched the new LinkBuds S Wireless Headset, the world’s lightest and smallest wireless headset

The new Sony LinkBuds S Wireless Headphones come with a weight of 4.8 grams per plug.

The Japanese Sony explained that the new LinkBuds S wireless headset is packed with all operating modes of Active Noise Canceling Technology (ANC), in addition to the Transparency mode.

ANC settings can be automatically adapted to the location of the user.

If someone talks to the user, the music is paused in order to better hear the speaker’s voice.

And the battery life extends to 9 hours without the active noise cancellation technology on.

But it is reduced to 6 hours when this technology is turned on, and the charging case is enough to charge the wireless headset for two full times, but it does not support the wireless charging function.

Sony indicated that the new wireless headset is connected to a smartphone or playback devices via Bluetooth 5.2 technology with support for SBC, AAC and LDAC technology to transmit 24-bit audio files with 96 Hz at a speed of up to 990 kbit/s.

The Japanese Sony confirmed that the wireless headset supports many advanced pairing technologies such as Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and multi-point audio technology.

The new wireless headset can be controlled via voice assistant apps such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
