On the morning of May 19, at Phan Thiet Transport Port (Binh Thuan), Trung Trac high speed train Phan Thiet-Phu Quy route has officially been put into operation and runs the first route to serve people and visitors.
This is a large double-hull speedboat operating in this shipping route.
Trung Trac Train is invested by Phu Quoc High Speed Train Joint Stock Company (Phu Quoc Express). The ship is designed according to European standards, equipped with 4 Rolls Royce MTU engines imported directly from Germany, modern marine equipment, safe operation in harsh weather.
The train meets the needs of serving up to nearly 600 passengers and shortens the travel time from Phan Thiet to Phu Quy and vice versa to only 2 hours.
Mr. Vu Van Khuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Quoc Speedboat Joint Stock Company, said that Trung Trac train is one of the three largest two-hull speedboats in Vietnam.

Phu Quy was approved by the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province tourism local focus.
According to Mr. Bui The Nhan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, the introduction of the Trung Trac high-speed train on the Phan Thiet-Phu Quy route and vice versa not only shortens the distance between the mainland and islands, helping Phan Thiet-Phu Quy traffic to be convenient, but also contributing to the rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, especially the tourism field of the island.
With the current mission of “Connecting Vietnam’s mountains and rivers”, Phu Quoc Speedboat Joint Stock Company has a fleet of 11 ships with a capacity of 300 to 1,000 passengers, high-class services and facilities, and experience on the world market. 7 years of exploitation and operation connecting the pearl islands of Vietnam such as Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Nam Du, Ly Son./.
