jpnn.comJAKARTA – Member of Commission IV of the Indonesian Parliament from the Nasdem Rajiv Faction claimed to be furious after receiving a video showing the fraud of unscrupulous rice traders exchanged sacks of Bulog rice with premium rice sacks.

Rajiv’s murmur was expressed in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) and President Director of the Logistics Agency (Bulog) with Commission IV of the Indonesian Parliament in the Parliament Complex, Tuesday (4/2/2025).

Although agreed to report to the police, Rajiv also asked the role of Bulog’s supervision that should be able to prevent this fraud.

“I got a video, this (happened) at the end of December 2024, Bulog rice was exchanged for premium sacks. Earlier the head of Bapanas said that if there was a sack exchange, we exchanged police, yes I agreed, but how about the supervisory function of Bulog? ” Rajiv asked.

Rajiv is worried that if Bulog’s supervision is not running and there are no sanctions for the perpetrators of rogue rice traders, eating will disrupt the food self -sufficiency program which is the main program of the government.

“If this is not cleared, I will worry that food self-sufficiency is disrupted, later when harvesting does not let Bulog unable to absorb due to the cheating behavior of unscrupulous traders, in the end the price of grain will go down, failing again self-sufficiency in food,” said Rajiv.

The legislator from the electoral district of West Java II also criticized the Managing Director of Bulog who often said he was called or met the president to RDP participants so that it seemed to be a justification for all Bulog actions so far.

“So, you don’t need to say much to be called by the President, we are all here to defend the President, sir,” said Rajiv.
