Leading airline SpiceJet plans to raise fares to offset rising fuel prices and other operating costs.
Ajay Singh, managing director of the company, said the decision was taken due to the fall in revenue due to high fuel prices over the past few months and as a result, prices would be hiked by 10-15 per cent from current tariffs.
Moreover, shares of SpiceJet continue to depreciate in the stock market.
