Turkey’s capital market regulator has stepped up its oversight of brokerage firms. The Capital Markets Board (SPK), in its bulletin dated October 20, 2026, resolved to halt the operations of Alnus Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, and Pusula Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ.
The suspension decision in question was enacted within the framework of the provisions of Capital Market Law No. 6362. It was officially declared in the bulletin that operations were suspended as of 00:01 on October 21, 2026.

It was reported that the announced decisions cover new regulations concerning brokerage houses and real estate appraisal companies. It was stated that these measures taken by the board are significant for the supervision of capital markets and the protection of investors. It was emphasized that investors working with these institutions, whose activities have been temporarily suspended, should follow the official statements of the institutions and SPK announcements regarding their accounts and ongoing transactions.

The board imposed an administrative fine on HSBC Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ on the grounds of failing to conduct adequate research to determine the statute of limitations on cash and assets and failing to fulfill its obligation of professional diligence.
The regulatory authority once again demonstrated that such professional negligence is closely monitored in terms of market security.
Board Approves Fiba Yatırım Bond and Bill Issuance
