USPS to Release Limited-Edition SpongeBob SquarePants Forever Stamps
The United States Postal Service is diving into Bikini Bottom this summer with a new collection of SpongeBob SquarePants stamps, set to launch on August 1. The stamps celebrate the enduring legacy of Stephen Hillenburg’s beloved animated series and offer a colorful addition to the USPS’s specialty summer offerings.
A Celebration of an Icon
According to a USPS release, the new Forever stamps – usable indefinitely or “until the USPS goes out of business, whichever happens first!” – will feature a vibrant array of characters from the show. Fans can expect to see SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton, and even Gary the Snail adorning the collectible sheets. A sheet of 16 stamps will be available for $12.48.
