Sport Shooting World Cup-2024 (skeet/individual): Italian Tammaro Cassandro wins the gold medal
Salé – The Italian Tammaro Cassandro won, on Sunday, the gold medal in the individual skeet event, counting for the 2024 Olympic Shooting World Cup, which is being held in Salé under the presidency of HRH the Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Royal Moroccan Sports Shooting Federation.
The Italian was crowned world champion with a total of 59 points, ahead of the American Vincent Hancock (57 points).
The bronze medal went to the Czech Daniel Korcak (44 points).
The 2024 Olympic Shooting World Cup, organized by Morocco for the second consecutive time, continues until February 13 with the participation of 360 athletes from 49 countries.
Participants in this competition, placed under the aegis of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF), compete for titles in the Olympic disciplines of trap and skeet, women’s, men’s and mixed teams.
