How is the champion of League 1 2024 defined?

• The winner of the Apertura, if Universitario also wins the Clausura title, will be automatically proclaimed national champion.
• If Universitario does not win the Clausura and it is won by a team that also finishes first or second in the accumulated points, there will be a direct final in case ‘U’ also finishes first or second in the annual table.
• For playoff semifinals to exist, the champions of the Apertura and Clausura must finish in third and fourth place in the accumulated points. If this formula occurs, the teams that finish in first and second place will have the right to play these playoffs for the title.

How are the Peruvian teams classified for the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana 2025?
