Yet another good performance from the Regional Division 1 boys but the same verdict as the two previous matches: zero points. In Macerata everything was decided on the last possession, Pedaso proved he could compete and against the bottom team he missed the knockout blow. The rossoblù seen on the pitch in the match against the Canaries were “almost” perfect. Sumptuous first two quarters, third quarter in control and last quarter where, despite suffering, up to 5 minutes they still had control of the match. The reason for the defeat is to be found in not having closed the result when the exuberance, the physical freshness and the great precision in the realization phase allowed it, leaving the final outcome open.
The guests deserve credit for the overwhelming physical power under the basket that could not be countered by Del Buono’s boys, for the great experience given by the age gap and for having believed in it all the way. The glass is always half full.
