Sporting trains in Mareo while waiting to start the trip to Andorra

by time news

Sporting de Gijón closed this Saturday morning back in Mareo after being left out of the flight that was scheduled to take to Barcelona early in the day. The rojiblanca expedition has trained on field number 2 of the rojiblancos facilities while the procedures are being resolved to be able to start the route to Andorra, where tomorrow the Andorran team will be measured starting at 4:15 p.m. Miguel Ángel Ramírez has directed a session with ball exercises leading the way and which, in principle, will be the last before the league duel.

Sporting’s move to Andorra did not start well. The rojiblancos had to take a flight to Barcelona early this Saturday. A problem with the crew, specifically a cabin technician, has forced the flight capacity to be reduced and left the expedition of the Gijón team on the ground. The club evaluated alternatives from that moment to try to complete the trip in the best possible way.

The day began for Sporting at 8.15 am, departing from Mareo to Asturias Airport. There, the team would take a flight to Barcelona, the same one that has suffered a setback that has forced everything to change. The forecast was to have lunch in Barcelona before traveling by road to Andorra, where the team would hold an afternoon training session. Once the displacement is complete, the expedition will be housed at the Suites Plaza Hotel & Wellness. Tomorrow, after the match, the team will travel by bus to Barcelona to sleep at the Barcelona by Meliá hotel. The return will be Monday at 11:55 by plane. The squad list is made up of: Cuéllar, De Amores, Bloch, Guille, José Ángel, Insua, Bruno, Marsà, Aitor, Pedro, Jony, Campuzano, Cristo, Jeraldino, Queipo, Zarfino, Otero, Jordan, Milo, Pol Valentín, Djuka, Cali, Diego Sanchez and Varane.
