Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmood Sajib Bhuiyan is going to Comilla, Noakhali and Feni this Friday (August 23) morning. He will take a position there and supervise the relief cooperation and rescue operations of the flood victims according to the situation. Its Press Secretary Mahfuzul Alam confirmed this to RisingBD in the morning.
Earlier, the sports advisor announced to donate his first month’s salary to flood victims. There he wrote, ‘As an adviser, I will give my first month’s salary to the chief adviser’s relief fund. Let’s all come forward to face the crisis.’
Besides, in a message, he called upon all the members of the youth organizations registered in the Directorate of Youth Development to stand by the flood victims. He said, ‘All the members of the youth organizations registered in the Directorate of Youth Development are being urged to participate fully in the service of flood affected people in 12 districts including Feni. In any crisis and disaster, the struggling youth of Bangladesh can work with the vow of service. We hope that we will win this flood with the joint participation of everyone in disaster prevention.’
